2015 The Newest Iron ore Mining policy for South Australia

South Australia is rich in iron ore mineral, and the iron mining industry, iron beneficiation plants, iron ore recycling plant technology is very advanced. Investors want mining the ore industry with lower invest cost crushing machines and grinding mill machines.

Recently years, The South Australia government made a newest policy for  Iron ore Mining industry as follows:

The Mining Act 1971 controls and regulates mining operations in the state. Uranium exploration can occur within mineral titles and is governed by the Mining Act 1971; however, mining is prohibited unless the Minister has specifically endorsed the operations.

Other uranium mining regulation acts are the Radiation Protection and Control Act 1982, the Roxby Downs (Indenture Ratification) Act 1982 and the Environmental Protection Act 1993.

In 2015  year, mining activity is regulated by Mineral Resources Development Act 1995. It oversees the granting of licenses, mining leases, rents and royalties.

The Environmental Management and Pollution Control and the Radiation Protection Act 2015 regulate uranium mining.

Mineral commodities found in this region are governed by the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) (Extractive Industries) Regulations 2010 under the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990.

The Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) (Extractive Industries) Regulations 2010 (the Extractive Regulations) prescribes various matters relating to extractive industry work authorities under the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990 (the Act). These include fees, royalties, work plans and annual reporting requirements.

The main objectives of the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development, Extractive Industries) Regulations Act 2010 are to:

  • Prescribe procedures, details, royalties, fees, forms and information
  • Prescribe fee forms authorized by the act

The mining of uranium is prohibited in Victoria. Any discovery of uranium must be reported to the government.
