500tph bauxite grinding production line Introduction
The configuration of the bauxite grinding production line is mainly based on the customer’s production needs and the characteristics of the ore. The equipment used in the production line includes jaw crusher, cone crusher, ball mill, Raymond mill, rotary kiln, etc.
The jaw crusher is used for primary crushing, and the cone crusher is used for secondary crushing. The ball mill is used for grinding bauxite ore into fine powder. The Raymond mill is used for further grinding of the fine powder. Finally, the rotary kiln is used for calcining the bauxite ore to produce alumina.
500tph bauxite grinding Process Flow
The grinding process of bauxite is generally divided into two stages, coarse grinding and fine grinding. Coarse grinding is carried out in the first stage of grinding, while fine grinding is carried out in the second stage. The equipment used in each stage of grinding is different, so the overall configuration of the production line is also different.
In a typical bauxite grinding production line, the raw ore is first crushed and then fed into a ball mill for further grinding. The ball mill is typically equipped with steel balls of different sizes to further grind the raw ore. The final product of this stage is called “bauxite concentrate”, which contains a high concentration of alumina.
The second stage of grinding is typically carried out in a rod mill, which is also equipped with steel balls. The rod mill grinds the bauxite concentrate to a finer particle size, resulting in a product called “calcined alumina”. This calcined alumina is then fed into an electric furnace for further processing.
