Working principle of the carbon black Raymond Mill

working principle of the carbon black Raymond Mill

The working principle of the carbon black Raymond Mill is quite simple. The materials are fed into the machine through the feeder and then crushed by the jaw crusher. The crushed materials are sent to the storage bin by the bucket elevator, and then evenly and continuously fed into the main machine grinding chamber through the vibrating feeder.

Inside the grinding chamber, a high-pressure spring is mounted on a roller hanger, which tightly presses against the inner surface of the grinding ring. Under centrifugal force, materials are scooped up by shovels and grinded between rollers and rings.

The ground powder is carried by air flow generated from blower into separator for classification. The qualified powder is collected by cyclone collector or dust collector while unqualified powder will be re-ground until it meets requirements.

This working principle ensures that carbon black particles are finely ground to achieve high fineness production. It also guarantees smooth operation with low energy consumption.

Understanding how this powerful machine works can help users maximize its potential in producing high-quality carbon black powder efficiently.
