- Dry crushing of crushers
Dry crushing is that the moisture content of crushed material is below 4%, and the following is its features.
a. When crushing, it need to set dust collector to prevent dust flying, to achieve environmental protection and energy saving.
b. The processing materials and products should be dry.
c. When fine crushing, the crushing efficiency has float according to different materials’ hardness.
d. If the moisture content of crushed materials is over a certain amount, the particle would be bonding, and the crushing efficiency would be low.
- Wet crushing of crushers
Wet crushing is that the moisture content of crushed material is over 50%, and has mobility crushing. Its features are:
a. In order to reduce dust generation in operation site, it can add dust removal equipment according to environmental pollution degree.
b. Particle classification is relatively simple.
c. If the moisture content of crushed materials is high, the crushing capacity is low, and easy to cause the materials caking.
Spodumene: According to the hard rock crushing process, the crushed product is generally 5-40mm, combined with different design requirements of customers, two-end or three-stage crushing, high-grade crushed products (above 4-5%) can be directly used in the metallurgical process to produce lithium carbonate Or lithium hydroxide, the particle size of the finished product is generally around 20-40mm; low-grade generally requires ball mill grinding and separation, and the particle size of the finished product is generally around 5-20mm;
