Introduction to the working principle of the spiral classifier

Most of the spiral classifier and the grinding machine form a closed-circuit work, so as to separate the qualified crystals in time, and a few equipments are used for washing or desliming and dehydrating the pulp. The machine is equipped with a device for lifting and transporting grit.

The size of the spiral classifier is expressed in diameter. According to the number of spirals, it can be divided into single-screw classifier and double-screw classifier. According to the level of classification liquid level, the spiral classifier is divided into three types: high weir type, immersion type (or submerged type) and low weir type.
Immersion double spiral classifier. It consists of a groove body, a screw, a transmission device and a screw lifting mechanism. The groove body is a rectangular inclined groove with a star semicircle at the bottom, and an overflow weir is arranged at the lower end. Two spirals are installed in the groove, and the continuous spiral blades are fixed on the hollow shaft. The hollow shaft is supported in the bearings at the upper and lower ends, and the transmission device is installed. At the upper end of the tank body. The motor drives the screw to rotate through the bevel gear. The lower end bearing is installed at the bottom of the lifting mechanism, and the lifting mechanism can lift the lower end of the screw to adjust the distance between the screw and the bottom of the groove. At the same time, pick up the screw when parking to prevent sand deposition from burying the screw.
